What draws us to photography? Why is a picture worth a thousand words? What inspires us?

Here is a little workflow tutorial/demo I created showing my digital photography workflow using Lightroom 3 and Nik Software’s excellent plugin collection. This is my usual workflow for a lot of my photos, but I sometimes swap out the Color Efex Pro plugin with Viveza 2. Well after a month or so of careful research, multiple trips to the local camera store, and many hours of self doubt, I am happy to report that my new camera and lenses have arrived. Buying a new camera was not a light undertaking. I have done the research on just about every DSLR out there and finally made up my mind and made the purchase. Which one did I buy?
